A Card Re-visited

Since posting this card, I have felt like something was missing. The control freak in me hoped for better results so I worked on version #2 today and I am much happier with the way the image and sentiment fill the white space.

Stamps: SU Kindred Spirits, Wishing You, Fiskars Baby Clear Stamps
Paper: SU Whisper White
Ink: SU Old Olive, Ruby Red, Basic Black

I bought the pattern paper for this next card a couple of months ago and have been waiting for the just the right idea. Well, it finally came to me; unfortunately, it came to me when I should have been paying attention to the sermon in church today … divine inspiration?

Stamps: Hero Arts
Paper: SU Very Vanilla, Teresa Collins DP
Ink: SU Real Red, Basic Black
Accessories: Buttons from my stash

And finally, my husband and I took our little one year old to a park near our house yesterday for some fall pictures – so sweet!

Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. Nice pics of the little lady! And I like both of these cards a lot… once my office is no longer full of construction materials I may need to pull out the stamping supplies again!

  2. Love the change on the card (although I did like it the first time round too). You totally “get” the white space stuff – nice work! And your little princess looks SOO grown up in these photos. Look how long her hair is getting!
